Welcome to our Handicrafts-Evenings!
Join us for a cosy gathering dedicated to the art of crochet and other handicrafts – an evening to relax, connect and create together. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to crochet or an expert, this evening is about sharing warmth and creating together.
Our first project will be crocheting a filled watermelon, with its symbolic meaning. Apart from that we’ll concentrate on doing square and round crochet grannies. If you have your own crochet project, you’re welcome to join. And if you don’t know what a granny is apart from a lovely grandmother, you’re most welcome to come.
Apart from crochet we would like to make other handicraft-evenings.
We’ll bring some snacks and you can also bring something to share if you want.
We’ll end this series in March with a Balkan tradition called Martenitsa. A little doll which is done to welcome the spring. You wear it in March until you see a sign of spring, such as a spring blossom
