Dear friends of language and culture!

The university’s current funding for our organization will end on April 1. This is due to budget cuts in the education and culture sectors, which are currently being felt in many places: programs are being scaled back, departments are closing, and spaces for cultural and language education are under pressure. This development saddens us and, to be honest, makes us angry as well. For years, our work has demonstrated how important languages, cultural exchange, and accessible educational opportunities are for an open society.

But we're not going to give up just like that! We are working hard to find ways to continue our programs — perhaps in a new organizational form, with new structures, partnerships, and ideas. This process is complex and takes time, but it also opens up new opportunities.

At the moment, we are unfortunately unable to make any definitive statements about whether courses will be held during the summer semester, or to what extent. But what we can say is this: We want to keep going. And we’re working on it.
